Fan, Cooling: Removal: 3.2L
- Disconnect and isolate the negative battery cable. If equipped with an Intelligent Battery Sensor (IBS), disconnect the IBS connector first before disconnecting the negative battery cable.
- Remove the pressurized coolant bottle. Refer to BOTTLE, PRESSURIZED COOLANT, REMOVAL .
- Remove the hood latch and cables. Refer to LATCH, HOOD, REMOVAL

- Disconnect the ambient temperature sensor wire harness connector (1).
- Disconnect the cooling fan wiring harness connectors (3) and remove the wire harness (2) from upper radiator panel (1).
- Remove the screws (1) and the upper radiator panel (2).
- Remove the six bolts (1, 2) and the upper core support (3).
- Remove the upper radiator hose (1).
- Remove the right bolt (1) that secure the cooling fan to the radiator.
- Remove the left bolt (1) and the cooling fan (2) from the vehicle.
