Capacitor, Ignition: Installation: 2.4L

  1. Install the ignition capacitor (1) to the front of the cylinder head and tighten the stud bolt (2) to the proper specifications. .

  2. Connect the wire harness connector (1).

  3. Install the capacitor heat shield (1) and tighten the nut (2) to the proper specifications. .
  4. Install the engine cover. .
  5. Connect the negative battery cable. If equipped with an Intelligent Battery Sensor (IBS), connect the IBS connector to the negative battery cable.
