Sensor, Coolant Temperature: Installation: 2.4L

1. Install the coolant temperature sensor (2) and tighten to the proper torque specification. Refer to TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS - 2.4L  .
2. Connect the coolant temperature sensor wire harness connector.

3. Install the Powertrain Control Module (PCM) mount (3) to the battery tray (1).
4. Install the PCM mount bolts (2 & 4).
5. Install the PCM

   Refer to MODULE, POWERTRAIN CONTROL (PCM), INSTALLATION .

6. Install the battery. Refer to BATTERY, INSTALLATION .
7. Fill the cooling system. Refer to COOLING - STANDARD PROCEDURE .
8. Install the engine cover.
9. Connect the negative battery cable. If equipped with an Intelligent Battery Sensor (IBS), connect the IBS connector to the negative battery cable.
