In vehicles not equipped with the optional PEKG system, the SKIS control circuitry integral to the BCM includes a Radio Frequency (RF) transceiver.
Inputs without PEKG:
- PCM DTC status
- Odometer total request
- Remote start activation status
- Key transponder ID info
- Driver door ajar status
- Ignition and operational mode status
- Key in ignition status
- IMMO_Code request from PCM
- Power mode status
Outputs without PEKG:
- Key transponder authentication/read request
- IPC warning light status
- IMMO_Code response to PCM
Inputs with PEKG:
- Key transponder authentication/read request
- Ignition and operational mode status
- TRM_Code request from BCM
Outputs with PEKG:
- Key transponder ID info
- TRM_Code response to BCM
