Removal And Installation

REMOVAL

  1. Disconnect and isolate the negative battery cable. If equipped with an Intelligent Battery Sensor (IBS), disconnect the IBS connector first before disconnecting the negative battery cable.
  2. Remove the left front floor air outlet. Refer to OUTLET, AIR, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
  3. Disconnect the wire harness connector and camera connectors from the CVPM.

  4. Remove the fasteners (1) securing the module (2) to the support bracket.
  5. Remove the CVPM (2) from the vehicle.

  6. If required, remove the fasteners (1) and remove the CVPM bracket (2).

INSTALLATION

  1. If removed, position the CVPM bracket and install the fasteners. Tighten the fasteners securely.
  2. Position the CVPM on the bracket and install the fasteners.
  3. Connect the wire harness and camera connectors to the CVPM.
  4. Install the left front floor air outlet. Refer to OUTLET, AIR, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
  5. Connect the negative battery cable. If equipped with an Intelligent Battery Sensor (IBS), connect the IBS connector.
  6. Using the diagnostic scan tool, perform the surround view camera programming. Refer to MODULE, CENTRAL VISION PROCESSING (CVPM), MODULE PROGRAMMING .
