Theory Of Operation
The Driver Assistance System Module (DASM) integrates radar and camera sensors into a single unit and is used to detect objects near a vehicle. The module communicates with other modules on the vehicle to provide a system of enhanced safety functions.
- Conventional Cruise Control
- Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC)
- Automatic High Beam Control (AHBC)
- Lane Departure Warning (LDW)
- Advanced Emergency Braking (AEB)
- Forward Collision Warning (FCW)
