Removal And Installation: Shroud

REMOVAL 

LHD shown, RHD similar.

1. Remove the steering wheel. Refer to WHEEL, STEERING, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .

   1 - Outer Steering Column Shroud

2. Separate the outer steering column shroud from the inner steering column shroud and remove the outer steering column shroud.
3. Remove the steering column control module (SCCM). Refer to MODULE, STEERING COLUMN CONTROL (SCCM), REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .

4. Separate the inner steering column shroud from the steering column opening cover and remove the inner steering column shroud.

INSTALLATION 

Follow the removal procedure in reverse for general reassembly of the components on the vehicle. The steps listed below are calling out specific procedures that should be followed during installation.
