Enabling/Set Conditions And Possible Causes - PTU And RDM Position/Temp Sensor Faults
RDM SYSTEM ENABLING CONDITIONS AND FAULT SETTING CRITERIA:
| MONITORING CONDITIONS | |
|---|---|
| Position Sensor DTCs |
|
| DTCS | FAULT SETTING CRITERIA | POSSIBLE CAUSES |
|---|---|---|
| Hall sensor supply circuit fault (C2050-1C) | The DTCM detects that the PTU or RDM hall effect position sensor supply circuit voltage is out of range low/high. |
|
(C2060-09, C2070-09) - Position sensor circuit faults
|
The DTCM detects that one of the actuator motor hall effect position sensor voltage signals is out of range low/high.
NOTE:
The DTCM does not set an individual low or high fault for the two internal position sensors. If either position signal for the actuator motor is low or high the sensor component failure fault will set. |
|
(C2080-09, C2090-09) - Temperature sensor signal out of range fault
|
The DTCM detects that the actuator motor internal temp sensor voltage signal is out of range low/high.
NOTE:
The DTCM does not set an individual low or high fault for the internal temp sensors. If the internal temp sensor signal is low or high the sensor component failure fault will set. |
