The BCM is responsible for vehicle configuration deployment and gating messages between CAN networks for system operations.

- Gated vehicle speed message to the CVPM
- PRND state to the CVPM
- Ignition state to the CVPM
- Steering wheel angle to the CVPM
- Vehicle configuration - vehicle line, Body style, which cameras are equipped, transfer case type, transfer case state, transmission type and transmission gear state to the CVPM
- Global drive mode status to the CVPM
- Steering factor to the CVPM
- Camera wash response to the CVPM
