Torque Procedure:
- Firmly press the oil pump in place by hand before drawing it in with bolts.
- In order to seat the oil pump cover properly, pre tighten bolts one, seven and nine to 6 N.m (53 in. lb.)
- Tighten bolts to 10 N.m (89 in. lb.) starting at number one working clockwise
- Rotate additional 90° in sequence starting at bolt 1

Torque Procedure:
- Tighten to 5 N.m (44 In. Lbs.)
- Rotate additional 45°

Torque Procedure:
- Install bolts except for the spots where the locating pins are installed and hand tighten
- Remove the pins and install the remaining bolts
- Tighten bolts to 6 N.m (53 In. Lbs.)
