DTC DETECTING CONDITION CHART

Item Detecting Condition Possible Cause
DTC Strategy
  • TPS1 High Voltage
  • Poor connection
  • Open or short to ground in TPS circuit
  • Faulty TPS
  • Faulty PCM
  • Faulty ETS unit
Enable Conditions
  • IG Switch : ON
Threshold value
  • VTPS2 greater than or equal to 2.5V
  • VTPS1 greater than or equal to 4.85V
Diagnostic Time
  • Continuous
MIL ON condition
  • 1 driving cycle
