DTC DETECTING CONDITION CHART

Item Detecting Condition Possible Cause
DTC Strategy
  • APS2 Circuit
  • Poor connection
  • Faulty Acceleration Position Sensor (APS)
  • Faulty ETS unit
  • Faulty PCM
Enable Conditions
  • 0.2V < Vaps1 < 4.5V
  • 0.2V < Vaps2 < 4.5V
  • APS1 is normal
Threshold value
  • Change in APS1/25msec < 0.1V
  • Sum of the change in APS > 0.5V
Diagnostic Time
  • Continuous
MIL ON condition
  • 1 driving cycle

VAPS1: Output voltage of APS1, VAPS2: Output voltage of APS2
