DTC DETECTING CONDITION AND POSSIBLE CAUSES

Item Detecting Condition Possible Cause

  • Rationality check
  • Contact resistance in connectors
  • Faulty TP Sensor (TPS)
Enable Conditions
  • Stable purge operation: No/max. purge state
  • Battery voltage > 11V
  • Lambda regulation active
  • Coolant temp. > 76°C (168.8°F)
  • No relevant failure
  • 992 < RPM < 3488
  
Threshold Value
  • Multiplicative adaptive factor > 22% or < -17% or
  • Correction of reduced throttle area < -35% or > 35%
Diagnostic Time
