Signal Circuit Inspection

  1. Ignition "ON"
  2. Measure voltage between terminal 3 of the sensor harness connector and chassis ground
    1. Specification: Approx. 5V

  3. Is voltage within the specification?

    YES

    1. Go to "COMPONENT INSPECTION " procedure

    NO

    1. Check the short to ground in signal circuit.
    2. Repair as necessary and go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR " procedure
