Monitor Scantool Data

  1. Connect scantool to Data Link Connector (DLC).
  2. Monitor the "INTAKE MAP" parameter on scantool.
    1. Specification:
      1. IG key "ON", Engine "OFF": Approx. 1010 mbar ~ 1040 mbar
      2. IG key "ON", Engine "ON": Approx. 310 mbar ~ 370 mbar
  3. Is the sensor's signal near the specified value?

    YES

    1. Fault is intermittent caused by poor contact in the sensor's and/or ECM's connector.
    2. Fault was repaired and ECM memory was not cleared.
    3. If the problem works out, Go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR " procedure.

    NO

    1. Go to "Inspection & Repair" procedure.
