DTC P0700: TCU Request For Mil On: DTC Detecting Condition

DTC DETECTING CONDITION CHART

Case 1 DTC Strategy
  • MIL request code from TCU is monitored
  • Transaxle system
Enable Conditions
  • -
Threshold value
  • MIL ON request code from TCU "ON" (Duration is greater than or equal to 5 sec)
Diagnostic Time
  • Continuous
MIL on condition
  • 1 driving cycles
Case 2 DTC Strategy
  • Communication signals from TCU are monitored
Enable Conditions
  • Ignition switch "ON"
  • Battery voltage > 10V (after identification of auto transmission)
Threshold value
  • No signal from TCU during 1 sec
Diagnostic Time
  • Continuous
MIL on condition
  • 2 driving cycles
