Malfunction Indicator Lamp Description
The On-board diagnostic lamp turns on to notify the driver for a problem on the vehicle.
However MIL will go off automatically after 3 sequential driving cycles, the same malfunction not redetected.
Immediately after the ignition switch is turned on, the malfunction indicator lamp keeps on for 5 seconds to indicate that the malfunction indicator lamp operates normally.
The items as below will be indicated by MIL.
- Air flow sensor (AFS)
- Engine coolant temperature sensor (ECTS)
- Throttle position sensor (TPS)
- Injector
- Oxygen sensor (O2 sensor)
- Crankshaft position sensor (CKPS)
