SRSCM (SRS Control Module): Installation
- Disconnect the negative (-) cable from battery and wait for at least three minutes.
- Remove ignition key from the vehicle.
- Install the SRSCM on the bracket with the three mounting bolt and nuts.
Tightening Torque (SRSCM Mounting Bolt) : 8 ~ 14 N.m (80~140kg.cm, 5.9 ~ 10.3 lb.ft)
- Install the console bracket with the four mounting nolts and nuts.
Tightening Torque : 8 ~ 14 N.m (80~140kg.cm, 5.9 ~ 10.3 lb.ft)
- Connect the SRSCM harness connector.
- Install the center console.
- Connect the DAB, PAB, CAB and BPT connectors.
- After installing the SRSCM, confirm proper system operation:
- Turn the ignition switch ON; the SRS indicator light should blink for six times and then go off.
