SRSCM (SRS Control Module): Installation

  1. Disconnect the negative (-) cable from battery and wait for at least three minutes.

  2. Remove ignition key from the vehicle.
  3. Install the SRSCM on the bracket with the three mounting bolt and nuts.

    Tightening Torque (SRSCM Mounting Bolt) : 8 ~ 14 N.m (80~140kg.cm, 5.9 ~ 10.3 lb.ft)

  4. Install the console bracket with the four mounting nolts and nuts.

    Tightening Torque : 8 ~ 14 N.m (80~140kg.cm, 5.9 ~ 10.3 lb.ft)

  5. Connect the SRSCM harness connector.
  6. Install the center console.
  7. Connect the DAB, PAB, CAB and BPT connectors.
  8. After installing the SRSCM, confirm proper system operation:
    • Turn the ignition switch ON; the SRS indicator light should blink for six times and then go off.
