DTC P0125: Insufficient Coolant Temperature For Closed Loop Fuel Control: DTC Detecting Condition
- DTC Description
The purpose of this diagnosis is to monitor the minimum coolant temperature that enables lambda closed loop control after start. Minimum coolant temperature to run lambda control must be reached before the threshold time predetermined according to intake air temperature at start.
If the lambda control is not active because of low engine coolant temperature within predetermined minimum time after start, the ECM sets DTC P0125 and illuminates the MIL on the second consecutive driving cycle that the diagnostic runs and fails.
It is impossible to distinguish between above error and thermostat error which can only be detected later. Therefore, P0125 might be set by thermostat error.
