Monitor Scan Tool Data
- Allow the engine to cool.
- Run the cold engine at idle for 5 minutes.
- Check the engine coolant temperature parameter at idle with the scan tool.
- Is the engine coolant temperature increase to above 50t: (122°F)

NO
- Check ECTS for contamination, deterioration, poor connection or damaged harness. Repair or replace as necessary and then go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR " procedure
