DTC P0600 Can Communication Bus: DTC Detecting Condition

DTC DETECTING CONDITION CHART

Item Detecting Condition Possible Cause
DTC Strategy Case 1
  • Check CAN message transfer status
  • Open or short in CAN line
  • Poor connection or damaged harness
  • Faulty ECM
Case 2
  • No Message coming from TCM
Enable Conditions
  • Battery voltage > 10V
  • Engine speed > 32 RPM
  • Delay time > 0.5 sec.
Threshold Value Case 1
  • 20 wrong messages received by ECM
Case 2
  • No message during 100ms
Diagnostic Time Case 1
  • 1 sec.
Case 2
  • 1.5 sec.
MIL On Condition
  • 2 Driving Cycles
