Main Harness Circuit Inspection

WARNING: This page is about a different variant/trim than selected.
  1. Ignition "OFF".
  2. Disconnect the battery (-) terminal cable from the battery and wait at least one minutes.
  3. Disconnect FSIS connector and SRSCM main harness connector.
  4. Ignition "ON" & Engine "OFF".
  5. Measure voltage between terminal "1" or "2" of the FSIS harness connector and chassis ground.

    Specification: 0V

  6. Is the measured voltage within specifications?

    YES 

    NO 

    • Substitute the SRS main harness and check for proper operation.

      If the problem is corrected, replace SRS main harness and then go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR " procedure.
