Repair Procedures (A5GF1): Inspection

  1. Adjusting method for T/M control cable
  1. Set room side lever and T/M side lever to "N" position.
  2. Connect room side lever and shift cable.
  3. Connect T/M side lever to cable in a following orders.
    1. Push cable lightly in direction of arrow shown to eliminate FREE PLAY of cable.
    2. Tighten adjusting nut(C).

  4. After adjusting according to (2)-(4), verify that A/T shift lever can be properly moved to each gear position.
