TPS Circuit Inspection
- Key "OFF".
- Disconnect TPS connector.
- Key "ON".
- Measure the voltage between terminal 1, 2, 3 of TPS harness connector and chassis ground.
Specification:
Terminal 1 Approx. 5V
Terminal 2 Approx. 5V
Terminal 3 Approx. 0V
- Is the measured voltage within specifications?
YES
- Go to "COMPONENT INSPECTION " procedure.
NO
- Check for Open or Short in TPS circuit. Repair as necessary and then go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR " procedure.
