Ground Circuit Inspection
- Key "OFF".
- Disconnect TPS connector.
- Key "ON".
- Measure the voltage between terminal 2 of TPS harness connector and chassis ground (A).
- Measure the voltage between terminal 2 and 3 of TPS harness connector (B).
Specification: "A" - "B" = Below 200mV
- Is the measured voltage within specifications?
YES
- Go to "SIGNAL CIRCUIT INSPECTION " procedure.
NO
- Check for Open in ground circuit. Repair as necessary and then go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR " procedure.
