Ground Circuit Inspection

Key "OFF".
Disconnect FTPS harness connector.
Key "ON".
Measure the voltage between terminal 1 of FTPS harness connector and chassis ground (A).
Measure the voltage between terminal 1 and 2 of FTPS harness connector (B).
Specification: A-B is below 200mV.

Is the measured voltage within specification?
YES
- Go to "SIGNAL CIRCUIT INSPECTION " procedure.
NO
- Repair or replace as necessary and go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR " procedure.
