Signal Circuit Inspection

Ignition "OFF".
Disconnect IATS connector.
Measure resistance between terminal 5 of the sensor harness connector and chassis ground.
Specification: Infinite

Is resistance within the specification?
YES
- Go to "TERMINAL AND CONNECTOR INSPECTION " procedure.
NO
- Repair short to ground in harness and go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR " procedure.
