DTC DETECTING CONDITION CHART

Item Detecting Condition Possible Cause
DTC Strategy
  • Stuck closed
  • Short to ground in Closing Control Circuit
  • Open in Opening Control Circuit
  • Carbon or foreign objects
  • Poor connection or damaged harness
  • Faulty VCMA
Enable Conditions
  • Port position set-point: Opened for more than 1 sec.
  • No relevant DTCs
  • 11V < Battery Voltage < 16V
Threshold value
  • Flap position > Closed stop position - 0.28V
Diagnosis Time
  • 0.2 sec.
MIL On Condition
  • 2 driving cycle
