Ignition "OFF"
Disconnect TPS connector
Ignition "ON"
Measure voltage between terminal "1", "2" and "3" of sensor harness connector and chassis ground
1. Specification :
  terminal "1" Approx. 5V
  
  terminal "2" Approx. 5V
  
  terminal "3" 0V

Is the measured voltage within specifications?
YES
1. Go to "COMPONENT INSPECTION " procedure
NO
1. Check for open or short in signal harness. Repair as necessary and then go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR " procedure.
