Check Related Component.
- Connect scantool to Data Link Connector (DLC).
- Ignition "ON" & engine "OFF"
- Select "Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTCs)" mode and monitor "DTC Status" parameter
- Check if the DTC is erased while disconnecting related component one after another.
* Related component :IPM, ADM, DDM, FAM, RAM, IMS, Cluster module.
- Is the DTC erased?
YES
- Substitute with a known-good pertinent component and check for proper operation. If the problem is corrected, replace pertinent component and then go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR " procedure.
NO
- Check connectors for looseness, poor connection, bending, corrosion, contamination, deterioration, or damage. Repair or replace as necessary and then go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR " procedure.
