Check RAM
- Connect scantool to Data Link Connector (DLC).
- Ignition "ON" & engine "OFF"
- Check if DTC is erased after replacing RAM with "RAM for test".
- Is the DTC erased?
YES
- Replace "RAM for test" with "new RAM" and go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR ".
NO
- Check connectors for looseness, poor connection, bending, corrosion, contamination, deterioration, or damage. Repair or replace if necessary and then go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR " procedure.
