DTC DETECTING CONDITION AND POSSIBLE CAUSES

Item Detecting Condition Possible Cause
DTC Strategy
  • Voltage range check
  1. Short to ground in signal harness
  2. Poor connection or damaged harness
  3. Faulty IAT sensor
Enable Conditions
  • Battery voltage >6V
Threshold Value
  • IAT voltage < 0.22V
Diagnostic Time
  • 10 seconds
Mil On Condition
  • 2 Drive Cycles
