When replacing an SRSCM (Supplemental Restraints System Control Module) on a 2011 Sorento (XM), variant coding is required. Refer to the matrix chart below to determine the variant codes to be used with GDS. Refer to the parts sticker on top of the SRSCM to verify which part number is being installed into the vehicle.
