DTC DETECTING CONDITION CHART

Item Detecting Condition Possible Cause
DTC Strategy
  • Electrical Check
  • Open or Short to Ground in Control circuit
  • Open or Short to Ground in Power circuit
  • Poor connection or damaged harness
  • Faulty VIS Sol. Valve
Enable Conditions
  • 6V < Battery voltage < 16V
  • Engine running
Threshold Value
  • Short to ground
  • Open circuit
Diagnostic Time
  • 3 sec.
MIL On Condition
  • 2 driving cycle
