DTC DETECTING CONDITION AND POSSIBLE CAUSES

Item Detecting Condition Possible Cause
DTC Strategy
  • Voltage range check
  • Open in power supply harness
  • Short to ground in power supply or signal harness
  • Poor connection or damaged harness
  • Faulty TPS
Enable Conditions
  • 11< Battery voltage (V) <16
Threshold Value
  • TPS < 0.14V (Short circuit to ground)
Diagnostic Time
  • 1 sec.
Mil On Condition
  • 2 Driving Cycles
