Power Circuit Inspection

Check Open or Short in power circuit
1. IG KEY "OFF".
2. Disconnect FPS connector.
3. IG KEY "ON" & ENG "OFF".
4. Measure the voltage between power terminal of FPS harness connector and chassis ground.
  Specification: Approx 5V

5. Is the measured voltage within specification?
  YES
  
  Go to "SIGNAL CIRCUIT INSPECTION " procedure.
  
  NO
  
  Check for Open or Short to ground in FPS circuit. Repair as necessary and then go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR " procedure.
