SERVICE INFORMATION
On some Kia vehicles equipped with the Smart Key (SMK) System, a customer may complain of intermittent operation and/or inability to lock or unlock the doors using the button on the door handle. If the complaint cannot be duplicated, check to ensure that the customer is not carrying the vehicle's Smart Key in close proximity, or adjacent to another, Smart Key, or a smartphone, within a pocket or a purse.
