Repair procedures: Removal

  1. Remove the center console assembly.

    (Refer to "FLOOR CONSOLE ")

  2. Remove the air duct (A).

  3. Disconnect the shift cable (A) and then remove the shift cable (B) after pressing the shift cable socket (C) in the direction of "F".

    NOTE: Installing method for shift cable lever side
    • Install the cable socket part to the lever assembly securely after adjusting the wings (A) of cable socket part upward.
    • Install the cable socket part to the lever assembly securely after adjusting the projection (B) to prevent wrong assembly upward.

  4. Shift lever assembly connector (A).

  5. Remove the shift lever assembly (A) by removing the bolts (4ea).

    Tightening torque: 

    8.8 ~ 13.7 N.m (0.9 ~ 1.4 kgf.m, 6.5 ~ 10.1 lb-ft)
