Component Inspection

Check FRPS performance
1. IG KEY "OFF".
2. Warm up the engine to normal operating temperature.
3. Compare to "Current Data" and Actual Data about fuel Rail Pressure Sensor with GDS.

  1. Engine Idle after Warm Up (Approx. 4000 kPa = Approx. 40bar)
  2. At Acceleration (Approx. 12124 kPa = Approx. 121bar)
Confirm Part Inspection
1. Does the FRPS operate properly? (Check variation)
  YES
  - Go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR " procedure.
  NO
  - Substitute with a known-good FRPS and check for proper operation. If the problem is corrected, replace FRPS and then go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR " procedure.
