Repair Procedures: Removal

Turn ignition switch OFF and disconnect the negative (-) battery cable.
Disconnect the ECM Connector (A).

Remove the battery.
(Refer to "BATTERY ")
Remove the air cleaner assembly.
(Refer to "AIR CLEANER ")
Remove the mounting bolt (A) and nuts (B), and then remove the ECM (C).

After removing the installation nuts (A) and screws (B), remove the ECM (C) from the bracket.
