Component Inspection

Perform HO2S (S2) Heater Actuation Test
1. Connect GDS to Data Link Connector (DLC).
2. ENG "RUN".
3. Perform "Actuation Test " for HO2S (S2) Heater.

Inspect HO2S (S2) Heater
1. IG Key "OFF".
2. Disconnect HO2S (S2) connector.
3. Measure resistance between Pin No. 3 (Power) terminal and Pin No. 4 (Control) terminal of the HO2S (S2) Heater. (Component Side)
  Specification: Approx. 9.0Ω(20°C) (68°F)
Confirm Part Inspection
1. Does the HO2S (S2) Heater operate properly? (Check variation)
  YES
  - Go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR " procedure.
  NO
  - Carefully re-do this troubleshooting guide steps.
  - If problem still occurs, replace HO2S (S2) and then go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR " procedure.
