DTC Information: DTC Detecting Condition

Item Detecting Condition Possible Cause
Case 1 DTC Strategy
  • Rationality check between TPS1 and TPS2.
  1. Poor connection
  2. TPS
  3. PCM
  4. Obstruction in the throttle plate movement
  5. Throttle body
  6. APS
Enable Conditions
  • Engine Speed greater than 320 rpm.
Threshold Value
  • Absolute value of difference of TPS1 position and TPS2 position greater than 6.3 %~12.2 %.
Diagnostic Time
  • 0.14 sec.
Case 2 DTC Strategy
  • If different, check between TPS1 and Model TPS.
Enable Conditions
  • Engine Speed greater than 320 rpm.
Threshold Value
  • Absolute value of difference of TPS1 position and Model TPS l (if TPS2 error) greater than 9%.
Diagnostic Time
  • 0.2 sec.
MIL ON Condition
  • 1 Driving cycle.
