DTC Information: DTC Detecting Condition

Item Detecting Condition Possible Cause
DTC Strategy
  • Voltage range check
  1. Poor connection
  2. Short to power in signal circuit
  3. Open in ground circuit
  4. MAPS
  5. PCM/ECM
Enable Conditions Case1
  • 11 V< Battery voltage < 16V
Case2
  • Engine speed during engine start (engine operating state out of start) > 640...960rpm depending on start ECT
  • Throttle opening < 6...34% versus Engine Speed
Threshold Value Case1
  • Sensor voltage > 4.85 V (Short to Battery)
Case2
  • Sensor voltage > 4.35 V (Open circuit GND line)
Diagnostic Time
  • Continuous
MIL On Condition
  • 2 Driving Cycles
