DTC Information: DTC Detecting Condition

Item Detecting Condition Possible Cause
DTC Strategy
  • Voltage range check
  1. Short to battery in signal harness
  2. Open in signal or ground circuit
  3. Poor connection or damaged harness
  4. Faulty IAT sensor
Enable Conditions
  • Time after start > 105 sec., if Air temperature at Start > -30 °C(-22°F)
Threshold Value
  • IAT voltage > 4.85V
Diagnostic Time
  • Continuous
Mil On Condition
  • 2 Drive Cycles
