DTC Information: DTC Detecting Condition

Item Detecting Condition Possible Cause
DTC Strategy
  • Stuck open
  1. Short to ground in Closing Control Circuit
  2. Open in Opening Control Circuit
  3. Carbon or foreign objects
  4. Poor connection or damaged harness
  5. Faulty VCMA
Enable Conditions
  • Ignition "ON"
  • 11V < Battery Voltage < 16V
  • Port position set-point: Open for more than 1 sec.
Threshold Value
  • 0.088 volt < port position feedback < 2.1 volt
Diagnostic Time
  • 0.2 sec.
MIL On Condition
  • 2 driving cycle
