Monitor GDS Data

  1. Connect GDS to DLC (Data Link Cable).
  2. Warm up the engine to normal operating temperature.
  3. Check the "Current Data  " about related DTC with GDS.

    1. HO2S (S1) performs Max Heater (Approx. 86.23%) after Engine Cold-start.

    Lambda Control is performed after Engine Cold-start after 25 sec.

  4. Perform "Actuation Test  " with GDS when there is no change in service data as above.

  5. Are the parameters displayed correctly?

    YES 

    • Fault is intermittent caused by poor contact in the sensor's and/or ECM's connector or was repaired and ECM memory was not cleared. Thoroughly check connectors for looseness, poor connection, bending, corrosion, contamination, deterioration, or damage. Repair or replace as necessary and go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR " procedure.
