Repair Procedures: Removal

  1. Turn ignition switch OFF and disconnect the negative (-) battery terminal.
  2. Remove the engine room LH side cover (A).

  3. Disconnect the IDB connector (A).

  4. Remove the harness installation nut (A) and ground bolt (B), and then remove the harness (C).

  5. Disconnect the ECM connector (A) and the TCM connector (B).
  6. Remove the ECM & TCM bracket mounting bolts (C) and nut (D).

  7. After removing the mounting bolts (A), remove the TCM bracket assembly (B).

  8. After removing the mounting nuts (A), remove the ECM (B) from the bracket
