Repair Procedures: Installation

  1. Install in the reverse order of removal.
  2. Reconnect the battery negative cable.
  3. After installing the ODS, confirm proper system operation:
    1. Turn the ignition switch ON the SRS indicator should be turned on for about six seconds and then go off.
    2. Telltale lamp will turn on for 4 seconds and be turned off for 3 seconds. After the 7 seconds, it shall remain off if the ODS does not require suppression and the passenger airbag is enabled.
