Repair Procedures: Removal
- Turn the ignition switch OFF and disconnect the battery negative (-) cable (A).
- Disconnect the positive (+) terminals (B) from the battery.
- Remove the air cleaner. (Refer to
"AIR CLEANER
")
- Remove the battery insulation pad.
- Remove the battery mounting bracket (C) by loosening the mounting bolt and then remove the battery (D).

- Remove the battery tray (B) after removing the bolts (A).
