DTC Information: DTC Detecting Condition

Item Detecting Condition Possible Cause
Case 1 DTC Strategy
  • Compare consumed fuel quantity with fuel level change
  1. Poor connection
  2. Faulty Fuel Level Sensor
  3. Damaged Wiring
Enable Conditions
  • Consumed fuel (model) greater than 12L
Threshold Value
  • Consumed fuel (model) and Consumed fuel (actual) difference greater than 17L or less than -17L
Diagnostic Time
  • 5 sec
Case 2 DTC Strategy
  • Signal stuck
Enable Conditions
  • Consumed fuel (model) greater than 12L
Threshold Value
  • Variation of Fuel level signal less than 1L
Diagnostic Time
  • Continuous
MIL ON Condition
  • 2 driving cycles
